Although Star Stuff has nearly 100% ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam, it's not reaching enough students. Educators have expressed that Steam is too difficult to set-up in their classrooms. To change this, we launched the Star Stuff Edu Project—a free, browser-based version of the full game. Star Stuff Edu is a set of 70 curated levels that promotes the same problem-solving mindset we set out to nurture with Star Stuff, and seeks to build a community of educators dedicated to embracing game-based, playful learning.

From a Digital Technology Specialist
“Star Stuff has been an amazing addition to our program. Students have really enjoyed the puzzle based nature of the game as well as its overall design in regards the animations and graphics within it.
As a teacher, I can see how the input/output nature of the challenges really helps kids to understand the basics of algorithms, while in later levels it introduces more complex coding concepts like conditional statements, but in a non-threatening and fun way. The program has a lot of depth, and starts at an attainable level for learners that need more support.”
